ROLLA, MO -- Missouri S&T swimming earned decisive victories over both Missouri-St. Louis and Southwest Baptist in Friday's tri-meet. The Miners defeated UMSL 141-63 and SBU 168-30.
The Miners won 10 of their 11 events today, taking 21 medals. The Miners' most dominant events was the 100 yard backstroke, with S&T taking the first four places in that event.
Grady Ashley (St. Louis, MO/Kirkwood) was the only Miner to set a personal best in the event, setting a new personal record for the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:09.94.
