LIBERTY, MO -- Missouri S&T"s men's swimming team is headed for Liberty this Friday, set to compete in their second dual meet of the season as they take on the William Jewell Cardinals.
William Jewell picked up a big win over Truman State last week, defeating the Bulldogs 155.5 to 49.5. Lucas Murcia won three events at the meet, including taking the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.79.
For S&T, three individuals hold top 10 times in the conference after the first meet of the season.
Connor Bichsel's (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) 2:05.6 in the 200 breast is third in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while
Jordan Christensen (Coralville, IA/Iowa West) ranks 8th in the event and
Nathan Butler (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit) is 6th in the 200 fly.
What's Next
The Miners will be in Lawrence, Kansas next weekend for a dual against South Dakota.
