LEBANON, Ill. – The Miners strong third set was not enough to overcome the Bearcats today. They struggled in the first set but started to find a rhythm in the next two. Despite the turnaround, they lost in straight sets.

The Miners struggled in the first, as they fell behing 5-14 in the first. They managed to stop the bleeding and matched the McKendree over the next several points up to 20-11. However, a 4-0 run by the Bearcats provided them enough momentum to take the first set 25-13 over the Miners.
2nd Set:
S&T played much better at the start of the set, leading by 7-5 early. A 7-1 run by the home team would put the Miners down by four though.
