ROLLA, MO- The Miners (3-9-2, 3-9-2 GLVC) finished the regular season with a 2-2 double overtime draw with the Hawks of Quincy University.

All four goals would come in the first half of play starting with the Hawks; QU's Maddie Bauer got a ball from Paige Anderson off a corner kick and found the back of the net to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead just nine minutes into the match.

Ten minutes later, Paige Jackson (St. Louis, MO/Incarnate Word Academy) would get fouled in the box and awarded a penalty kick. She connected for her third goal of the season and tied the game up at 1-1.

S&T took their first lead of the match in the 29' of play when Cameryn Boucher (Chandler, Ariz./Basha) connected with Beth Roberts (Lake St. Louis, MO/Liberty) on a goal to make it a 2-1 Miner advantage. But, Quincy would add one more goal just before halftime from Riley Hayes to tie the game back up at 2-2.

While the Miners were able to hold the Hawks scoreless in the second half, Quincy's defense froze S&T's offense allowing just two shots the entire 45 minutes.

After 90 minutes of play, the Miners and Hawks found themselves still at 2-2. With 20 minutes of combined overtime, S&T and Quincy played to a draw.
