ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's men's soccer season came to a close Sunday afternoon as Lewis handed the Miners a 3-0 loss at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.
The Flyers (11-3-3, 9-3-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference) scored all three goals within the first 30 minutes of the contest in a first half where they outshot the Miners 11-1. The scales were more even in the second half, with the best chance coming when
Derek Schlenker (Chandler, AZ/Hamilton) hit the crossbar on a free kick in the 81
st minute.
Aris Oluwatuyi opened the scoring in the 14
th minute when he finished a play in the box, then Jimmy Mwanga scored the Flyers' other two goals in the 23
rd and 30
th minutes.
Michael Sallee (Springfield, MO/Catholic), one of nine S&T seniors honored prior to the Miners' final home game of the season, played most of the contest and had three saves. S&T also honored

Brandon Bunger (Williamsville, IL/Williamsville),
Julien Denis (Olathe, KS/Olathe East),
Andrew Heider (Hazelwood, MO/Hazelwood West),

Josh Wobbe (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville) in the pre-game ceremony.
Missouri S&T closed its season with a record of 6-8-2 and had a mark of 5-7-2 in the GLVC.
