10/29/2019 3:00:00 PM

ROLLA, Mo. – Two teams looking to get back on the winning side of the ledger will face off Saturday afternoon at Allgood-Bailey Stadium when Missouri S&T hosts Southwest Baptist in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest.

Saturday's game will be Rolla Youth Football Day at Allgood-Bailey Stadium – all members of the Rolla Youth Football program will be admitted free if wearing their jerseys – and prior to the game, a concert will take during the pre-game tailgate in the parking lot outside of the stadium.

Both teams have lost two straight games entering Saturday's contest.  S&T dropped games to Truman State and eighth-ranked Indianapolis after winning five straight games, while SBU has lost its last two after a win over William Jewell on Oct. 12.

Missouri S&T has won the last two meetings between the teams, including last year's 48-23 win in Bolivar and have taken three of the five matchups since the Bearcats began playing football as a GLVC member in 2014.

McAlister has been part of a three-headed rushing attack for the Miners this season along with Deshawn Jones (Olympia Fields, IL/Rich Central) and Aaron Moya (Canutillo, TX/Canutillo).  Jones leads the way with 471 yards and is 283 away from the S&T career mark, while Moya has 426 on the season and McAlister comes in with 302 rushing yards.
