(Rolla, Mo.) - Missouri S&T's Krista Haslag (Linn, Mo./Helias ) received another postseason accolade on Monday as she was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American third team. She becomes the first player in the program's six year history to receive All-American honors.

Haslag finished the season leading the Great Lakes Valley Conference in hitting percentage (.342) and blocks per set with 1.34. She is currently 10^th in all of Division II in blocks per set and her hitting percentage is in the top third of the nation. She was second on the team averaging 2.79 kills/set and set single season school records for assisted blocks (142) and total blocks (159). She was a first team All-GLVC selection and the conference's co-freshman of the year.

The Miners finished their 2012 season with a 20-13 mark, 15-3 GLVC, were West Division champs for a second straight year and advanced to the GLVC semifinals.
