(Rolla, Mo.) - The Missouri S&T volleyball team dropped one spot from seventh to eighth in this week's NCAA Regional Rankings.
The Miners went 1-2 last week, but was able to hang onto the final spot. S&T is one of five GLVC teams ranked in this week's poll. Three of those are in the top eight. Indianapolis holds down the top spot for the second straight week while Lewis is fifth. Bellarmine is ninth followed by Wisconsin-Parkside at 10th. The GLIAC also had five teams in this week's rankings. Northwood (Mich.) is second and followed by Ferris State (3rd), Grand Valley State (4th), Hillsdale (6th) and Ashland (7th.).
S&T concludes the regular season this weekend with a pair of matches against Illinois Springfield and Quincy. The Miners and Prairie Stars will face off on Friday at 7 p.m., while the Hawks and S&T will square off on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Miners are on the verge of securing their second straight GLVC West Division Championship.
