ROLLA, Mo. -- Sunday's men's soccer game between Missouri S&T and Southern Indiana was postponed due to wet field conditions at the Missouri S&T Soccer Field. No make-up date has been determined at this time.
Over an inch of rain fell in the Rolla area Saturday night and Sunday morning, which led to a one-hour delay in the start of Sunday's soccer doubleheader. Two more rainstorms came through during the first half and halftime of the women's game -- which was completed -- but the two men's teams and game officials deemed the field unsuitable for play for the second contest.
Missouri S&T, 7-4-2 overall and 6-4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, is scheduled to play Friday against William Jewell in Liberty, Mo., then closes its home schedule next Sunday when it hosts Rockhurst at 2:30 p.m.
