One of the top performers for the Miner basketball team from 1993-97, Holloway finished his playing career as the school's second-leading scorer with 1,571 points, second in three-point baskets with 241 and as the school's all-time assist leader with 343. He led the Miners in scoring in each of his final three seasons, averaging 17.3 points a game as a senior and 13.5 points per contest in his junior year to help lead the Miners to the MIAA title and NCAA South Central Regional championship game. He was also one of the top free throw shooters in school history, setting the single-season mark by connecting on 90.6 percent of his attempts in the 1996-97 season and the best four-year mark in school history of 84.3 percent.
