Berry earned letters in football and track in 1946-47, then spent the next 33 years working as the school’s athletic publicity director.  He handled the publicity duties from 1947-79 and broadcasted Miner football games for 18 years for KTTR Radio.  As a player, he was second on the team in touchdowns in 1946.
