Kokal played four seasons for the Miners and was a key part of the Miners’ 1995-96 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association championship team. A two-time All-MIAA selection as an honorable mention pick, Kokal scored 1,104 points in his career and recorded the highest single season field goal percentage mark of 62.1 percent during the 1995-96 campaign, as well as the top career shooting mark of 59.2 percent. He recorded the Miners’ top field goal marks in each of his four seasons in a Miner uniform. In addition, he also ranked fourth on the Miners’ all-time blocked shots list at the close of his career with 88, including a career-high 32 as a junior and a team-best 27 in the 1996-97 campaign.
