Holly was one of the top all-around players in the Miner basketball program during a career where he scored 1,622 points, dished out a school record 394 assists and made 162 steals that ranked second on the school's all-time list.  He had two seasons in which he led the Miners in scoring and averaged at least 13.9 points in each of his four years in a UMR uniform, finishing his career with an average of 15.2 per game.  His 133 assists in the 2001-02 season were the third-most in a season in school history and he also finished his career – one that saw him earn an All-MIAA honor in each of his four years with the Miners -- with 223 three-point baskets, the third-most of any Miner in the history of the program.  A second-team All-MIAA performer in the 1998-99 season and the MIAA's Freshman of the Year in 1998, Holly also recorded the third 40-point scoring performance in school history when he hit that mark in a 2002 win over Pittsburg State.
