During a four-year career in the Lady Miner basketball program, Hartman was one of the top performers on both ends of the floor as she finished among the top 10 in school history for points, rebounds and blocked shots.  Her 1,213 career points ranked fourth on the all-time list at the close of her career, which the 747 rebounds she pulled down ranked second and the 194 blocked shots were the most in school history.  In the 1995-96 season when the Lady Miners won the MIAA regular season championship, Hartman, a three-time honorable mention All-MIAA selection, averaged 12.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 57 percent from the field; she closed her career as a 53.3 percent shooter from the field.  Her 69 blocked shots in the 1994-95 season set a school record as she became the first player in school history to record 60 blocks in a season.
