Missouri S&T Athletics

A two-sport standout, McAlpin was a four-year football letterman at guard as well as being an MIAA wrestling champion in the heavyweight division.  He co-captained the football team in 1972 and earned first-team All-MIAA honors in that season.  A year later, he won the conference wrestling title and was presented with the Gale Bullman Award.
