Missouri S&T Athletics

Potts competed in four sports at UMR – football, basketball, baseball and track & field – and excelled in track where he finished fourth in the 100-yard dash at the MIAA Championships and NCAA regional meets in 1971.  He was also part of the 440-yard relay team that placed second at the conference meet and was on two relay teams that set school records.
