Tucker had an outstanding career on the softball diamond for the Miners, which included being selected three times to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference first team and to the NFCA All-Midwest region team in the 2009 campaign. In her career as an outfielder, Tucker stood out at the plate with a .360 batting average during her four seasons that included a .409 mark in 2008 and a team-leading .365 average as a senior in 2009. She also collected a school record 52 doubles among her 205 career hits and produced a .583 slugging percentage that ranked first all-time at the close of her career. Tucker had at least 20 extra base hits in each of her last three seasons as a Miner and finished her playing days with 23 home runs, 111 runs batted in and 41 stolen bases, all marks that ranked among the top 10 in program history.
