One of the best wide receivers to ever wear a Miner uniform, Somerville set a number of receiving records during his Miner career.  During a career that spanned from 1968-71, he caught 161 passes for a total of 1,956 yards.  Somerville won honorable mention All-America honors after a spectacular junior season when he set school records with 72 receptions for 862 yards.
