ROLLA, Mo. -- The Missouri S&T Miner volleyball team will be hosting a "Date Night on the Miners" event, where parents/guardians can enjoy a night out, while players and coaches from the Miner volleyball team take care of their children, on Friday, May 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. inside the main gym of the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building.

The cost is $5 per child per hour plus additional donations will be accepted. Parents can choose 1-3 hours for their kids to participate. Drop off will begin after 5:45 p.m., with pickup beginning after 7 p.m. Children ages 3 and older are welcome (must be potty-trained).

Missouri S&T volleyball players and coaches will host an evening of planned activities to enjoy with children, while their parents/guardians enjoy a night out. There will be relaxed and fun activities and games, such as volleyball, basketball and kickball, in the Bullman gymnasium. A safe environment with constant supervision is promised for the event.

"Date Night on the Miners" is a fundraiser for the volleyball team's 2015 season.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register by clicking on this link for a registration form. Walk-in registrations are also welcome. A waiver form (click here to print) is required for participation.
